Owing to circumstances related to the Covid-19 outbreak, the

Friar Street Meetings at the normal venue are now closed until further notice. Please check back HERE for any updates related to future meetings.

For those who would like to have an online meeting with familiar voices from the groups we already attend, we have set up a Skype meeting that you can join in if you feel so inclined.

 

The FIRST meeting started at 12:30 on Thursday 19th March and continued for about one hour.

 

Each of those who attended agreed it was a success and want us to continue using this forum until such times as we can resume our normal f2f meetings when this crisis has ended.

The NEXT meeting will start at 12:30 on Tuesday 24th March and shall continue for about one hour and 15 minutes.

To attend the meeting, you will need to sign up for a free Skype account if you don’t already have one.

 

Just go to www.skype.com and download it.

 

Skype will work on any device (phone, desktop, etc). 

 

Add FRIAR STREET TUESDAY LUNCHTIME to your Skype contacts.

You can do this by searching for FRIAR STREET TUESDAY LUNCHTIME and clicking the link.

It is advisable to access the site approximately 10 or 15 minutes before the meeting.Look for the FRIAR STREET TUESDAY LUNCHTIME

 

The tech host - (Doug), will add you to the conference call.  If the host does not add you immediately, please send the host (Doug) a message on WhatsApp or on the Skype address.

 

Please mute your microphone in the periods when you are not sharing, as by doing so there is less chance of background noise.

 

Additionally, please bear in mind that you do not need to use the CAMERA MODE unless you want to.

 

The same applies to the AUDIO OPTION.

You may just prefer to use TEXT.

The choice is entirely for the INDIVIDUAL.

​
